Stretching along the cliffs on both sides of the Yishui River, the Longmen Grottoes span one kilometer from north to south. Today, there are 100,000 Buddha statues here, ranging from the largest at 17.14 meters to the smallest at just two centimeters. There are over 2,300 caves and prayer niches, adorned with an unparalleled 2,680 inscriptions worldwide
