Sanjiang Bingliu (Three Parallel Rivers Natural Landscape) is a magnificent natural landscape located in Yunnan Province, characterized by the convergence of the Yangtze, Mekong, and Salween rivers, which flow parallel without merging their courses.
Administratively, the landscape is divided into Lijiang District, the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture. It includes eight central landscape areas: Gaoligong Mountain, Baimang - Meili Snow Mountain, Habaxue Mountain, Qianhu Mountain, Hongshan Mountain, Yunling, Laojun Mountain, and Laowo Mountain, covering a total area of 17,000 square kilometers.
This area represents the largest in Yunnan, rich in various scenic features and diverse national characteristics. The rivers flow through steep gorges, surrounded by snow-capped mountains rising up to 6,000 meters high and plunging up to 3,000 meters deep.
