At Helan Mountain, there are rock walls with reliefs depicting a nomadic people. Archaeological investigations have revealed that these are up to 10,000 years old. They depict scenes of people, hunting and pastoral scenes, wars, dances, totems, and symbols of reproduction. So far, tens of thousands of these reliefs have been discovered.
