Due to its location, Heilongjiang is ideal for skiing. In recent years, significant investments have been made in skiing, especially around the city of Yabuli. Covering 168 square kilometers, it is the largest ski resort in Asia. Yabuli is located about 195 kilometers east of Harbin and is easily accessible from there by long-distance buses.
