The largest Buddhist temple in the city of Changchun is Temple Banruo Si. It is located north of People's Square. Approximately 35 monks permanently reside in the temple, founded in 1921. Pilgrims visit several times a month to participate in rituals. The temple can be visited during daytime except on Mondays and Tuesdays.
