Tsedang

The valley of Tsedang, along with its side valleys, is considered the cradle of Tibetan culture. The small town of Tsedang is the center of this region, home to the oldest monasteries in Tibet. To the south of the town, the first 13 Tibetan kings were buried in elongated burial mounds up to 250 meters long. However, out of respect, excavations have not been conducted so far.
