The province of Hebei, located in the northern part of the People's Republic of China, is largely situated in the northern part of the North China Plain and partially on the Mongolian Plateau. The province almost entirely surrounds the centrally administered municipalities of Beijing and Tianjin. Shijiazhuang is the capital city of Hebei province. With its abundance of notable landmarks and historical sites, tourism thrives in the city. Xibaipo served as the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China during the Liberation War, making it a significant location in Chinese history.
The Longxing Temple is one of China's earliest and well-preserved Buddhist temples. Its construction began during the reign of Emperor Kaihuang in the Sui Dynasty (581-618 AD). Emperors from various dynasties have visited this temple, adding to its historical significance.
The airport near the provincial capital of Shijiazhuang offers connections to various domestic destinations. Additionally, it is connected to the high-speed rail network between Beijing and Hong Kong. Travelers can reach the city in just 15 minutes by train or take a shuttle bus or taxi to the surrounding areas.
This airport, opened in 2016, is approximately 47 kilometers outside the city of Qinhuangdao and 34 kilometers from Beidahe. It serves several domestic flights to cities like Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Shanghai.
