Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, is located in the middle of the province at the lower reaches of the Ganjiang and Fuhe rivers. Founded over 2,200 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty, Nanchang has traditionally been considered a place blessed with good fortune and has produced many great figures throughout its history. Nanchang boasts more than 600 cultural relics, 18 historical sites, and 26 natural attractions.
Special attractions include the Pavilion of Prince Teng, the Baihua Island in the middle of Donghu Lake, Tianxiang Park, and the Gold Wire Pagoda.
